Success Story

Keep up the great work, Ms. Wilks!

Suzette  was admitted to Horizon Health with a new diagnosis of paraplegia. At admission she was dependent on our care staff for repositioning, transfers, and dressing. Through perseverance and therapy, she has made incredible progress.

Today, Suzette repositions in bed with little help, transfers using a sliding board with, and independently completes all dressing tasks. She continues to push herself daily, working toward her ultimate goal of walking. We are proud of Suzette’s determination and can’t wait to see her continue to thrive!

Employee Appreciation
