When Christina Ng arrived at Horizon Health following a stroke, everyday tasks felt overwhelming. She was completely dependent on staff for dressing, toileting, and repositioning, unable to take even a single step on her own. But Christina refused to let her challenges hold her back. With determination and the support ofher therapy team, she has made incredible strides—literally.

Today, she requires less assistance from our caring staff and has begun taking steps in the parallel bars, a huge milestone in her recovery. Her journey is a testament to perseverance and the power of hard work. Christina is proving that progress, no matter how gradual, leads to greater independence and brighter days ahead!
